Donations
Through the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novozymes has contributed to donations totaling DKK 55 million to emergency relief efforts in response to the war. Novozymes will furthermore donate up to DKK 1 million to support refugees coming to Denmark. During 2022 Novozymes supported refugees via multiple initiatives such as sponsoring trucks for Red Cross’ transportation of relief goods to the Romanian-Ukrainian borders and sponsoring music teachers for one year to give classes to adult refugees.
Supply to Russia and Belarus
The war has led to serious disruptions in supply chain and trading conditions. Under these conditions of war, Novozymes is not accepting any further orders for products by our Russian and Belarusian customers and we will not sell or ship products to Russia or Belarus.
Mobilization and support
Many of our employees express a strong desire to help the people impacted by the war. We are pledging worktime and funding to realize initiatives across our sites, such as collections of goods, donations, and Ukrainian culture events.
